Fire rating refers to the method used to increase a buildings resistance to fire. Taylors can supply and install all types of quality fire rating products to help protect your building structure from the devastation of fire damage.

In a building of Home Units or Apartments, Units need to be fire and smoke isolated from each other, and the common areas. This fire safety work is never, or rarely seen by the Owners of the properties.

Fire and smoke can travel both vertically floor to floor, and laterally Unit to Unit. Isolation of each living area is essential and set in law. Smoke is a silent danger.

Taylors, working with specialist fire Consultants and Designers, upgrade and repair penetrations, shafts and wall junctions. Fire dampers, fire collars, fire doors, sealants and sprinklers are repaired, or replaced. As with all Taylor’s work, homes are left clean, and repainted when necessary.
